AAPI-CF Mission Statement:
Inspire - Gracious - Giving
AAPI-CF mission statement is conveyed with three simple words, Inspire, Gracious and Giving. Three words, with a whole lot of meaning.
Not only does CF Inspire Gracious Giving, its officers and board of directors volunteer personal time and money to support CF's selfless cause.
History in Making
The charitable foundation was conceived in 1989 by a group of far-thinking and well-meaning AAPI physicians in collaboration with the governing and general body membership. It is is an independently registered 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. Since its inception in 2005, and even before CF was registered, many leaders and well-wishers have volunteered personal time and money to inspire the charitable giving.
For AAPI-CF to continue its present operations and continue to expand its giving, AAPI-CF is in a constant need of funds to finance these projects. I am proud to state that, the day I took over AAPI-CF as its Chair this July I was able to secure a pledge of $10,000.00 each from 5 AAPI members who became patron members. I entreat each of you to pledge a contribution to AAPI-CF so that we may serve those in need better. Many AAPI members have chosen to a donate to AAPI-CF instead of accepting Birthday presents or flowers, and some have made their tax deductible donations to AAPI-CF after a financial windfall as with selling a business, home or real estate holdings. Truly if each AAPI member decides to make a charitable donation of $100.00 or more each year, AAPI-CF would have a constant and limitless flow of money to continue its charitable giving. Please discus with your financial adviser laws governing charitable contribution.
My personal mission as the AAPI-CF Chair in the coming two years is as follows:
-
Adhere to AAPI-CF bylaws that were approved in 2005.
-
Keep all financial dealings transparent and above board
-
Keep an open mind for new ideas and visions
-
To invite innovative ideas to shore up the AAPI-CF coffers
-
To keep an open communication with the appointed AAPI-CF Directors
